Calvary Chapel Southbury Pastor John Eastwood

Pastor John is an ordained Calvary Chapel minister and Christian pastor who began Calvary Chapel Southbury as a home church with two people in 1998. In the subsequent twelve plus years of ministry, the congregation has grown significantly. The church now occupies four storefront buildings, plus another huge area behind the next building over for the Teen Center and additional classrooms, where we hold our monthly potlucks, in Bennett Square on Main Street in Southbury, CT, and the sanctuary has been remodeled and expanded to accommodate our growing church family.

John teaches through the Bible verse by verse and shares God's Word in a practical, applicable and relevant manner. His desire is to help people become more passionate about their journey with Jesus, strengthen their faith, and grow spiritually. The weekly sermons are available online as mp3s on our podcasts page

John has been happily married to his wife, Brenda, since 1990. They have been blessed with seven wonderful children.
