About Us

Calvary Fellowship Southbury began as a home church with only a couple of people in 1998. In the subsequent nine years of ministry, the congregation grew significantly. The church now occupies three storefront buildings in Bennett Square on Main Street in Southbury, CT, and the sanctuary has recently been remodeled and expanded to accommodate its growing church family.

Calvary Fellowship Southbury is devoted to knowing Jesus and walking with Him. So there is an emphasis upon the teaching of God's Word, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

Because we wish to extend God's loving hand beyond our congregation both locally and globally, we offer many opportunities to serve, support, encourage, and reach out to others through ministry.

Some of our local ministries include Children's Ministries, Teen Youth Group, Community Growth Groups, Loaves and Fishes Hospitality House, Weekly Bible Study, and Recovery Bible Study.

Calvary Fellowship Southbury has recently spearheaded along with Adirondack Christian Fellowship, an African Outreach initiative to help assist the victims of the food crises and HIV/AIDS pandemic in Malawi and Mozambique. Current ministries include: One Village at a time, Sponsor ISEND Africa, Pastoral Leadership Training, and Bibles for Pastors.

Please feel free to contact us or call us at (203) 267-5441 if you have any questions.
