African Outreach

Letters from Our National Pastors

Calvary Chapel Southbury, CT has partnered with Epicenter Solutions, a non-profit, disaster relief organization, to provide assistance to the victims of the the HIV/AIDS and Malaria pandemic, who are now orphans and widows in Africa; and preach the Gospel to the lost there. Twice a year, Calvary Chapel Southbury sends a missions team to Malawi and Mozambique to preach the Gospel, provide education, medical, water and food solutions. We have five feeding centers, a large, working, rainwater independent food farm, and have participated in the I.G.A. (International Goat Association) program by providing a medium sized and ever growing herd of goats for food. We have provided several wells (boreholes) and are working on several more, and are working on building a medical clinic.

Sponsor an African relief initiative today and help the victims of the food crisis and HIV/AIDS pandemic in Malawi and Mozambique.

Children in a Village Welcoming Missionaries

One Village at a Time

Sponsor an orphaned child or an aged person at one of our feeding centers for $35.00 per month.

"It has been said that one person cannot change an entire nation, but together we can change an entire village. We have changed many villages and restored the lives of thousands of people through your generous support of our ‘One Village at a Time’ program,” said Pastor John Eastwood, Calvary Fellowship Southbury.

Malawi is in an acute phase of a long-term emergency due to a deadly pandemic of HIV/AIDS and malaria outbreaks, food shortages, and a drastically weakened workforce in this agricultural society. This crisis has left behind over one million orphans, leaving them at high risk of dropping out of school and becoming involved in sex work to survive.

For about $1.00 per day ($35.00 per month), 100% of your sponsorship money will go overseas to help provide an orphaned child or an aged person with a safe facility, nutritious food, clean water, a school uniform, education on farming methods, education on HIV/AIDS prevention, and much more. A shipment of Bibles, or "Bybles"

Sponsor ISEND Africa for $30 per Month

Many pastors and missionaries in Malawi and Mozambique have a genuine call for God and a desire to help people grow in Christ. Because most villages and rural areas are isolated due to geographic distances and lack of roads, pastors must travel from village to village by bicycle or on foot. While these pastors work tirelessly to spread the Word, they have no means to tend to their crops and adequately feed their families. “And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:15)

For $30.00 per month, you can send a pastor or a missionary to the Lower Shire region of Malawi and Mozambique to plant new churches, spread the good news, and provide financial support to his family.

For only $30.00 per month, you join with another person in supporting a missionary or, for $60.00 per month, you can fully support a missionary. (Details)
