Once a month down in the Teen Center, we hold a potluck immediately after Sunday Morning Service which is a great time to meet new people, connect with people who you have not been able to see in a while, fellowship with the church body and friends. It is also a great time to eat!

All leftover food is immediately donated to the homeless shelter in Waterbury.

Calvary's Monthly Potluck Fellowship

It is food, fellowship, and fun, of course!  Plus, it’s a chance to see Phil in an apron!!!

The Monthly Potluck events are a great way to spend time with your brothers and sisters because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t like to eat?  Each month’s gathering boasts a new theme, from barbeque to family heritage dishes, turkey dinners to soup and sandwiches, breakfast foods to pizza and salad.  Bring something to share, or just come to eat and enjoy the company of your church family.

The Potlucks are held after the morning church service on the third Sunday of the month in our Teen Center, located down the stairs and around the back of the building.  Kids, parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends, and people you know – or people you don’t know – are more than welcome. It is an excellent time to make new friends,and to get to know those familiar faces you see every Sunday a little bit better.

Sign-ups for delicious dishes are located in the foyer of the church (sorry, non-delicious items are unacceptable.  If you are available to help with any of the needs below, feel free to fill out the form at the bottom of the page and drop it in an offering box.

Help is needed with the following:

• Teen Center cleanup and setup the Saturday before the Potluck
• Setting up banquet tables with food brought in that Sunday
• Grilling hotdogs and hamburgers during the warmer months
• Breaking down of tables and chairs and general cleanup of Teen Center after the Potluck
• Planning of future Potlucks Themes and ideas to improve them
