We receive questions like, "Where do I begin", and "How do I grow spiritually?" The goals are: To grow in our love for God To grow in our love for others To become fully functioning followers of Jesus Our ultimate purpose on earth is to glorify God. First, we do this by getting saved. Then, from that moment forward, we walk with God and should daily get closer to Him. The Bible tells us that all Christians are expected to continuously grow into and then act as fully-functioning followers of Christ. As a man, that also means leading in some manner. After all, the Bible says we are "His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus and thoroughly furnished to do good work". We should not to be fed with milk, but rather meat (1 Corinthians 3:2). God is most glorified by His children when Christ leads them. God has ordained that pastors and teachers equip believers for the work of the ministry, and every Christian looking for a church should want to know how they will grow as a disciple of Christ in that particular church (Ephesians 4:11).

The goals of the discipleship groups are: See people come to Christ Help them grow in Christ Give them opportunity to serve the body of Christ Watch them bring others to Jesus Our discipleship groups are gender-based and generally small, with only a few believers per group. The group will go through a book (along with the Bible) which challenges them in their walk with Jesus. There is open discussion, mutual accountability, confidentiality and prayer.
