Calvary Chapel Southbury's Hospitality Ministry

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
-
Mark 10:45

The purpose of the Calvary Chapel Southbury Hospitality Ministry is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by reaching out to others in kindness, compassion and fellowship.

Serving Food to the homebound

At Calvary Chapel Southbury, we take care of our own as best we can. To that end, whenever someone in our church has an "unscheduled event"-good or bad- we try our best to fill in the gaps by supplying any physical needs humanly possible. This can range from having a new baby or the tragic loss of a loved one, to a hospitalization or illness which can hinder a person or family's mobility.

We do this by providing hot meals, home visits, telephone calls and/or cards to the needy person or family, who is unable to join us in church fellowship and needs encouragement.

This ministry also provides services and refreshments at special events for the church family, or after special church services, such as the church picnic/baptism, Good Friday, Easter and Christmas Services, etc.

Fresh cooked meals being served

We can always use volunteers for this important ministry. If you are interested in ministering in any of these areas, please contact:
