The HIV/AIDS pandemic in Malawi has left over 1 million children
orphaned in Malawi.
This has not only affected the children, but also approximately
60 percent of the workforce in this agricultural society. As
a result, there are major food shortages and lack of providers
for families.
Right now, Epicenter
Solutions is a hunger relief organization which is strongly
impacting a region of over ten villages. In October of 2006,
we opened the Calvary Feeding Center in Bangula, Malawi, to
help the hungry and malnourished. We currently have
over 180 people enrolled in our feeding center, who are receiving
two meals a day. Otherwise, they would receive very little
food, if any at all. Epicenter
Solutions provides education relief and hunger relief
for orphans and widows in sub-Saharan Africa.

or an aged person in Malawi to provide for their basic needs.

Each center provides two meals per day, a school uniform,
educational training, and recreational activities for orphans
and the aged. Our Feeding Centers accommodate over 180 people
daily and provide a safe haven and an opportunity for a better
life for the people it serves.
