Something is always going on at Calvary Chapel Southbury. We are not just made up of attenders. We function as a vibrant center for evangelism and spiritual growth. At Calvary Chapel Southbury, we have many ways to plug yourself in an serve the LORD.

Community Growth Groups

Community Growth Groups are informal meetings where we study God's Word together. They are semester-based, with beginning and ending dates. These Groups provide an environment where people can grow spiritually and become fully mature followers of Jesus.

The Community Growth Groups are excellent opportunities for people to get to know one another in fellowship, growing side by side in the Word of God together.

Our desire at Calvary Southbury is to see people cast off ordinary living for the extraordinary life that is available to us in Jesus Christ. Our calling is to simply provide the environment and means through which close fellowship (and the fruit of such fellowship) can flourish.

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups is an opportunity where you will learn more deeply about Jesus and the extraordinary life which He has to offer. These groups consist of two to three people with a leader and meets twice a month. The groups are gender specific, generally smaller and are more in-depth than our Community Growth Groups.

We use curriculum that focuses on growing in the Word of God and being led by the Holy Spirit.
