Calvary Chapel of Southbury Recovery Ministry

Struggling with alcoholism or another addiction?
Feeling trapped and hopeless?

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Are you in bondage to alcohol or other drugs? Join us for a Bible-based recovery workshop called “The Power of Brokenness”. You are not alone. We have been where you are. God can set you free. Wednesdays 7:30 pm to 9pm - (Free Workbook)

God will meet you wherever you are in your addiction. The answer is Jesus.

Calvary Chapel of Southbury's Recovery Ministry offers individual biblical counseling and periodic group workshops. We apply Biblical principles to our journey of recovery. We want to learn of and grow in the love, will, and power of God together, through the study and discussion of Christian literature and the Bible as it relates to addiction and recovery.

* The workshops are open to anyone currently involved with, or interested in being involved with recovery from alcoholism, substance abuse or addictive behavior of any kind.

* This ministry is intended to serve as an adjunct to participation in a 12 Step program rather than to replace it. We fully encourage participation in such programs and the experience, strength and hope that they provide. Our personal experience has been that God uses twelve step programs as powerful tools.

The ministry leaders each had serious, long-term addictions that brought them to their knees. Their lives were once in shambles, but, by the grace of God, they have been clean from alcohol, heroin and crack cocaine for almost twenty years.

* There is no need for any religious background, Christian or otherwise, to attend.

* For individual biblical counseling, please contact Peter and Laurie Goodman at (860) 350 5033 or Recovery@Calvarysouthbury.com. We will talk with you in full confidentiality, pray with you, and offer you practical guidance on how to proceed in your recovery.

Private counseling is available any time. Please contact Peter and Laurie Goodman at (860) 350-5033 or Recovery@Calvarysouthbury.com for additional information.
