At Calvary Chapel Southbury we have many ways to serve in ministry and offer Christian ministry opportunities for people of all ages.
Below is a list of our ministry opportunities. Please contact us if you would like any further information on any of the ministries.

Children's Ministries
The Children's Ministry offers bible-based teaching on Sunday mornings with age-appropriate teaching of God's Word through Bible reading, activities, crafts and games. We can always use teachers and helpers for our ever growiing family of kids!

Teen Ministry
Our Teen Ministry strives to meet kids wherever they are so they can meet Jesus. We aim to minister to teens of all ages through relevant teaching and discipling. We have regular events and outreaches, so there are always opportunities to help serve.

Community Growth Groups
We believe that the best place for sustained spiritual growth to happen is in small group environments where people are studying the Word of God together, praying and caring for each other, and discussing the issues and challenges of life.

Discipleship Groups
Our discipleship groups are gender based and generally small, with only a few believers per group. The group will go through a book (along with the Bible) which challenges them in their walk with Jesus. There is open discussion and prayer.

Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry meets for Breakfast and Bible Study once a month, the last Saturday of the Month, in the Teen Center below and behind the church. Bring your appetite, and a Bible. We can always use help with setup, take down, cleaning, or simply reaching out to other men throughout the month. Hospitality Ministry
Reaching out to those Jesus loves through warm hospitality. Our hospitality ministry reaches out in many ways and to a large area of Connecticut. We use volunteers to cook or bring meals to those who are homebound due to health reasons, and you can easily get involved in that ministry. Please contact Carol Eastwood or call the church.

Sewing Circle of Love Ministry
Want to serve in a really rewarding way? Come to our sewing ministtry meetings! This ministry reaches out to the orphans in Malawi by making them much needed clothing that they would otherwise go without. Twice a month, on the second and fourth Saturday, our own Calvary Chapel Southbury Sewing Club meets. Again, please contact Carol Eastwood or call the church. As an extra bonus, you get to learn to sew on high tech machines, with free training!

Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen
On the second Saturday of every month, folks from Calvary Chapel Southbury volunteer time at Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen in New Milford, CT. Join us! This is also a very rewarding and much needed ministry.

Worship Ministry
While we believe we should worship the LORD with our whole body, soul, mind and spirit, we also need to worship Him in song. If you can sing or play an instrument we need, or would like to learn how, or be "behind the scenes" in some capacity, please contact us via email or call the church at (203) 267-5441.
