One Village at a Time
The HIV/AIDS pandemic in Malawi has left over 1 million children orphaned.
This has not only affected the children, it has also affected approximately 60 percent of the workforce in this agricultural society. As a result, there are major food shortages and lack of providers for families.
Right now, the One Village at a Time program is strongly impacting a region of over 10 villages. In October of 2006, we opened the Bethel Feeding Center in Bangula, Malawi, to help the hungry and malnourished. We currently have over 180 people enrolled in our feeding center receiving two meals a day who otherwise would receive very little food, if anything.
