Service Information

Visit the Connect Center

The best place to start is the Connect Center. When you walk in the door, you can’t miss it. Look for the bright orange Connect Center sign. Someone will be there to answer any questions you have about the church. We also have a gift for first time guests!

Kids and Youth

We are a church for your whole family. When you arrive for the first time, come to the Connect Center and we will direct you to the check-in area for Calvary Kids. As of September of 2020 we have Calvary Kids church during our 8:30 and 11:30 am services. We have Youth Group at our 10:00 and 11:30 am services.

We hope to return to our pre-COVID two service model (9 and 11 am with kids and youth at both services) as soon as it is wise to do so.

The atmosphere at Calvary Southbury is casual, so dress however you feel comfortable. We begin our service, right on time, by gathering to sing and celebrate what God is doing and has done. Then, we move on to our message. You can get a taste of our music and messages by clicking below. We encourage you to stick around after service to meet someone. Our aim is to make all people feel loved and welcome!

Also, during this time we ask all attendees to wear masks. We look forward to a time when we will not require masks!

After service is over, we encourage you to stick around and meet your neighbors. Getting to know one another is an important part of church and we strive to be an extremely friendly church where people can connect and be loved.

We begin our services with a time of worship. Our music is contemporary, upbeat and is led by a full band.

After a time of worship we move into a sermon. This teaching time is usually about 40-45 minutes and, on Sunday mornings, will be from the New Testament. It’s our hope that by digging deep into the Bible we will have our lives transformed by God’s grace. If you want to get an idea of what our teaching is like, just head over to our YouTube page and watch one!
